L’estate è uno dei periodi più belli per la socializzazione: le cene fuori, le giornate in spiaggia, le serate con gli amici e devo dirlo, i miei amati Barbecue.
Ma c’è una festa che una piccola principessa attende tutto l’anno, perché in cuor suo sa che la sua mamma farà i salti mortali per provarla a stupire ancora una volta. E non è facile, credetemi…
Sto parlando del compleanno della mia piccola Alice, che sta crescendo rapidamente e che come sempre, sta facendo il conto alla rovescia perché sia finalmente il suo momento.
Agosto è vicino e io mi preparo al tema di quest’anno, gli indiani d’america e la principessa Pocahontas. Non mi stupisce che con il passare del tempo le modalità della festa diventino sempre più complesse, anche se con le mille cose che ho da fare, questa è una di quelle che organizzo più volentieri, sia perché vale a rendere felice la persona più importante della mia vita, sia perché ho trovato una simpatica collaborazione e altrettanto gradimento negli amici, che sono sempre presenti e partecipano con gioia al nostro Party.
Studiare gli addobbi, la varietà dei dolci, organizzare i giochi tematici per i piccoli invitati, i cadeau di ringraziamento e le sorprese, sono solo alcuni dei dettagli che si nascondono dietro l’organizzazione di una festa.
Ma facciamo qualche passo indietro.
Come comunicare agli amici il tema dell’anno in maniera simpatica e diversa dal solito?
Con un invito fantastico!
Anche se nessuno lo ammetterà mai, la gente ama ancora molto la proposta cartacea dell’invito. E’ una gentilezza che rimane “fisicamente” ed è molto più utile a ricordare data, luogo, ora e ovviamente nome e anni del festeggiato.
E dal momento che ogni anno aggiungo qualche dettaglio in più, questa volta ho deciso di fare le cose in grande, rivolgendomi ad un esperto del settore: Paperless Post.
Si tratta di una nota azienda statunitense che offre un meraviglioso catologo di inviti per compleanni, matrimoni, cerimonie religiose, eventi, business o biglietti di ringraziamento e set di carta intestata per grandi e piccini. La cosa bella infatti, è che anche un locale, un ristorante, o un semplice privato possono approfittare di questo servizio per far conoscere serate speciali, nuovi aperitivi, vendite promozionali o perché no anche un tè in compagnia delle amiche. Un modo per comunicare con eleganza e lasciare un piccolo segno, in grado di fare la differenza nella riuscita di una festa.
Se avete dei bambini non potete non innamorarvi di tutte le loro proposte e se i “bambini” siete voi, farete altrettanto. Personalmente, spulciare i modelli elaborati dai loro designer mi ha fatto venire una gran voglia di invitare persone, chiacchierare, stare in compagnia e condividere momenti unici con loro. I’m talking about my little Alice’s birthday, which is growing fast and that, as always, is counting down because it’s finally her time.
August is near and I’m preparing for this year’s theme, Indians of America and Princess Pocahontas. I am not surprised that with the passing of time the arrangements of the party become more and more complex, although with the many things I have to do, this is one of the ones I organize more willingly: because I know that it avail to make happy the most important person of my life, either because I found a sympathetic collaboration and the likes of all our friends who are always present and joyfully participate in our Party.
Studying the decorations, the variety of sweets, organizing theme games for small guests, cadeau of thanksgiving and surprises, are just some of the details that hide behind the organization of a party.
But let’s take a few steps back.
How can you communicate the theme of this year to your friends in a nice and different way from the usual?
